Micro-needling
What is micro-needling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that’s used to treat skin issues via natural collagen production. It is a dermaroller procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin. Also known as collagen induction therapy, and it is said to treat a range of skin conditions, including acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, large pores, age spots, stretch marks, and pigmentation issues. Microneedling is an often a temporary procedure that produces fantastic short-term results that can be seen almost immediately and diminish in 30-45 days. You’ll likely notice brighter, firmer skin, too. Since Microneedling isn’t invasive procedure like plastic surgery, the recovery time is minimal, while effect if astonishing!

How does microneedling work?

Microneedling works by encouraging your skin to make more collagen. The idea is that pinpricks from the procedure cause slight injury to the skin. The skin responds back by making new collagen-rich tissue. In most cases, microneedling is performed with a manual device that resembles a wheel with an array of tiny needles, which is rolled across your skin. The cuts are so small that you likely won’t notice them after the procedure. One of the main benefits of this procedure is that the patients notice almost instant “glow” to their skin. Any redness will diminish in a couple of days and visible positive changes to the skin continue to develop over the next couple of weeks.  It will then descend from four to six weeks. It is an excellent option if you need quick and temporary results to look amazing fast!

Microneedling is a professional procedure that’s performed by a board-certified doctors.
