Dr. David B Gelbmann, DPM is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon, specializes in treating all ailments of the foot, ankle, and leg.

Dr. Gelbmann graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with dual degrees in molecular biology and biology before attending the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed an intense three-year surgical residency at one of Detroit’s largest and busiest hospitals, St. John Hospital and Medical Center.

He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is a surgical attending physician and is on staff at Northwestern and Weiss Memorial Hospitals.

In addition, he has published several papers and is a three-time participant and author in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Scientific Literature Review. He is on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Weiss Memorial Hospital.

In his free time, Dr. Gelbmann enjoys running, playing softball, and spending time with his wife and young children.

Dr. David B. Gelbmann is a well-known expert in minimally invasive foot surgery, bunion and hammertoe correction, removal of warts or other skin lesions, ingrown toenail removal, cutting and treatment of fungal toenails, removing corns and calluses.
